Here at Sugarloaf Catering, we understand that your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and we're committed to making it truly special. We have extensive experience working with a wide variety of venues, from unique and contemporary spaces to rustic barns and outdoor settings like marquees, tipis, and yurts. Our flexibility knows no bounds, and we go the extra mile to ensure your special day is nothing short of extraordinary.

Our top priorities are the quality of food, excellence in service, and the safety of our staff. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. As such, we will only operate in venues that meet our criteria.

Venue Requirements

To ensure we can provide the best service possible, we require the following from your chosen venue:

A clean, dry, connected, and sheltered area, protected from the weather.
If the venue does not have an on-site kitchen (common in barns, marquees, etc.), we'll need a 6mx6m catering tent equipped with at least 6 trestle tables, lighting, and an electricity supply. The specifics can be discussed based on your menu and venue.
Adequate parking space for our van close to the catering tent or kitchen for unloading heavy equipment.
Access to tested drinking water if table water is required (alternatively, we can organize bottled water).

Inclusions and Additional Costs

Our pricing includes Cutlery, Crockery, and a dedicated team to set the table, serve, and clear, along with a dedicated chef. Glassware and Linen are not included; however, we offer a drinks service package, which is available only if applicable to the venue. You can inquire about linen rental with Jackie. For venues with limited facilities, there may be additional costs for kitchen equipment, and travel costs will be added to the quote based on the menu, guest count, and location. Our quote is tailored to you; if you have specific or limited requirements, let us know and we can customise a package to suit your needs.

What Happens Next?

Engagement: Congratulations on your engagement! We're excited to hear about your special day. Take a look through our brochure and let us know your preferences and event details.
Consultation: Once you have your menu ideas, please send them over and we'll put together a detailed proposal for you, complete with pricing guidelines. After that, we can arrange a Zoom meeting or meet in person to discuss your day in more detail and ensure everything is tailored to your satisfaction.
Booking: Once you're satisfied with our proposal, you can secure your booking by signing the proposal and sending a £500 deposit. With that, you're officially booked, and the excitement begins! After booking, we can then arrange a tasting of your chosen menu if required, and we'll work closely with you to plan the details of your day.
Final Details: Approximately six weeks before your special day, we'll have a catch-up session to finalise all the details, including any special dietary requirements. Jackie will be available for any questions or advice you may need in the meantime.
